Learn more about the Friends of the Norwell Public Library

The Friends of the Norwell Public Library is a volunteer, non-profit group of library patrons who work together to raise funds and give financial assistance to the Library to help improve its services, resources, and role in the community. Traditionally, the Friends provide funding for children, teen and adult programs, museum passes, and when possible, special projects. This financial support is generated from a wide range of fundraising efforts such as the annual appeal, used book sales, raffles, plant sales, and a bake sale table here and there. Membership is open to all. Contributions of any amount of time, ideas, services, or money are always welcome.

We hold our annual donation drive in March; however, donations are gratefully accepted to the Friends at any time and in any amount. All donations are tax-deductible. If you wish to receive an acknowledgment of your donation under $250, please include your e-mail address with your donation. Donations of $250 or more will automatically receive acknowledgment per IRS regulations. You can make a donation with betterworld, or checks may be made payable to: Friends of Norwell Public Library (NPL), 64 South Street, Norwell, MA 02061.
