April 2024 - Lena Andrade
Cape Verde and Everyday Life Photography Exhibit.
Lena Andrade is Cape Verdean, Cape Verde American, American, and a sort of world traveler.
Andrade possesses a selective eye towards the democratic untidiness of the world. What she gets out of it, she calls art. Not capitalized Art but 21st century art, a temperature that goes all out. Creativity doesn't have to check itself as much or pretend anymore anonymity.

May 2024 - Margot Cheel
Exhibit title: Fine Art Aerial Photography - South Shore & Cape Seascapes
Margot Cheel is an award winning photographer, pilot, and arts educator. She invites you to see the world from a unique perspective. Her photography has been chosen for juried exhibitions throughout New England, and has appeared in numerous publications and on TV (Boston’s Channel 5 – “Chronicle.” She has published two Aerial Photography books. Sea & Sand from the Sky with quotes from aviators and What Do You See? Finding Shapes from the Sky with a story line about discovery for all ages.

June - July 2024 -Norwell Schools Selected Works
Drop in on June 6th from 3-4pm to talk to some of the students who created these amazing art pieces.
NPL's June + July exhibit features the Traveling Art Show which will showcase 30-40 beautifully framed pieces of art selected as winners from the Fine Arts Festival.
Winners are students who attend Norwell Public High School and Middle Schools.

Exhibit title: Cadence
Joan Collins is a seasoned photographer with numerous awards and invitational exhibits to her credit. From her artist’s statement: “ My photographs reveal the intoxicating power of Nature. They convey both the intimacy of fern-carpeted forests and the extraordinary grandeur of sprawling seascapes. Smell pungent wood along a forest trail, hear the sea crash against primeval cliffs, and see the universe in a single wavelet.”

Artist statement:
Since I was a kid growing up in Whitman, I always had a camera in my hand. I photographed everything: sporting events, my animals or any trip my family went on. I used a film camera until 2007 and have been using Nikon D70 and my Iphone ever since. I love taking pictures of places I have visited, architecture, buildings and houses that have been abandoned and my dog and 2 cats.

About The Felted Bee & The Artist
The Felted Bee is a cottage business focusing on wool, oil and wax. Jen McCarthy is the artist and owner behind the creations that you see on this website and at her studio in Rockland, MA. From her studio she creates works of arts including two and three dimensional artworks using wool, oil and wax. Jen also loves to share her knowledge with others, come take a class in needle or wet felting, painting or drawing.

Emily Russ is a ceramic artist located in Norwell, Massachusetts. This collection reflects Russ's dedication to artistic growth and creative exploration. In pushing the boundaries of her functional work through the inclusion of sculptural elements, she invites viewers to explore the marriage of utility and artistry, challenging perceptions and evoking a sense of wonder.
